Our Drug abuse is classed as use,
As long as we do it legally.
We-e call our drug a drink
While no-one seems to care.
That drug lords own every medium,
And our country's in despair.
While abuse is rife, and we now live in strife....
They advance the ethanol affair.

If 34,000 sounds like a big number, let's do the numbers.
10,000 dead - prescription drugs; 2,000 dead - NSAIDS: 1,000 dead - OTC's
16,000 dead - cigarettes; 500 dead - caffeine; approx. 4,500 dead - ethanol/ethyl alcohol.
NOTE: Latest stats state 6,000 dead - ethanol/ethyl alcohol drug deaths.
Yes, these statistics do fluctuate, but even at the lowest end of the scale, that's still a lot of 'legal' dead.
Solution - Respect your psychoactive recreational or medicinal drugs of choice.
To quote an ethanol drug lord...."Some things don't need explaining".

The Race that stops the Nation, while advocating legal drug intoxication. As you can see, drug abuse is perfectly legal and is a regular pastime of those who tell others to "Say NO to drugs, drink instead". It's hard to be unbigoted and non-hypocritical when no tolerance on drugs in sport goes side by side, and hand in hand with 'Drug cartel's own Sport' and 'Drug abuse is the Official Pastime of those who go to the "Intoxication that stops the Nation Horse Race Festival".
These photos go to show that those who abuse their drug of choice, usually abuse their venue of choice and those around them as well. Respect one, respect all. Abuse one, abuse all.
